Kristin Aiello, Esq. of the Disability Rights Center is co-chair of the 9th Annual Employment Law Update sponsored by the Maine State Bar Association. The seminar will be held at the Augusta Civic Center on December 4, 2009. Aiello specializes in disability discrimination in employment under the ADA and the Maine Human Rights Act. Aiello will also co-present on the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments of 2008, including a comparison to the Maine Human Rights Act.
Additional topics in employment law will be presented by several DRC board members, including Jeffrey Young, Esq., who will co-present on summary judgment practice; David Webbert, Esq., who will co-present on Restatement of Employment Law; and Richard O'Meara, Esq., who will co-present on retaliation in employment.
